The Swan Invasion…

The amazing beauty of nature will never cease to amaze me and every time I discover something new (at least new to me) I am reminded how little I have seen of our world.  I recently discovered that right in my own back yard between November and March a large gaggle of Swans take up residence in the waters of the Mississippi in Monticello MN.  What a wonderful opportunity to observe one of our more celebrated birds…. Oh yeah I took a few shots from the hip too!
