Another one from the Krystal library. This was originally bright blue, but it didn’t have very much depth, so I added some vignetting and changed it to a sepia tone. I like it better this way.

When ever I am at a loss for what to put up for a picture a day image I can always browse my now vast library of Krystal images and find something fun to put out. This one has had some funky editing to it, again just for fun!

Gotta Love Krystal
This is a funny image. I was trying to use an auto focus macro lens and focus in on her eye. But that silly little hair got in the way and stole the focal point away. Even so, it turned out to be a sweet image and the depth of field from the hair to the eye is astonishing. Another mistake which turned out better than the actual shot I was going for!
With this image if you click on it to open it up to it’s full size version you will see some cool details. The veins in the whites of her eyes, the reflection of the beauty dish I was using for a light source, the reflection of the fan cage in her iris area, and even a slight reflection of my taking the picture. It was an interesting idea, from Tina the model, and the outcome is very cool.
