While out taking images of the moon one night I turned and saw our house. I decided to stop and capture this image. If I had thought about it I would have gone into the house and turned on a couple more lights to the left side to even it out.
Night Time Glow
This past 4th of July we spent with friends a couple boxes of fireworks and a camera! We had the kids run around with the sparklers while I left the camera on the tripod with a really slow shutter. This is one of those images.

Paris in America.
This image was taken using my Canon G10 on a tripod, at night using a :30 shutter exposure. I was just testing it out to see what I would get. There is a color version of this as well, but for some odd reason I like the B&W one better. The large light in the sky under the fireworks is actually the moon.
Fourth of July Celebration
There is just something about a city at night. You can really feel it’s soul, the true depth of character. This image I captured while walking around the French Quarter of New Orleans. I believe this may even be Bourbon Street, but I am not sure as I didn’t pay attention to the administrative things like street signs, rather I just wondered around be sense of feeling.

I am not sure what kind of plant this is?
I stood on the overpass in Elk River with my camera and a tripod. This night I was able to capture several cool images, this is one of my favorites.
