A fantastic 1961 Aurora Frankenstein model which we put no eBay. We shot him on white and black, but the black turned out better.

I noticed the tree in the front of our house only had a few leaves left. All the others which had been hanging on have fallen to the ground and are screaming to be raked. Since this outstanding leaf is still on the tree it is saving me work and is worthy of a posting in my blog!

I need to rake soon...
This is another image using my new 85mm lens. It is just this ugly old flower on the antenna of the van, but I kind of like how this one turned out….

Ugly Flower
I have been playing around with creating HDR (High Dynamic Range) images. This is a simple image of my grill brush where I used this technique a bit. This one doesn’t really have the pop of many of the images I have seen on the internet, so I have a ways to go yet to perfect this technique.

Today my new 85mm, 1.4 Canon lens arrived. I was excited to get the lens and took it around the yard capturing many images to see what it could do. I am very happy with the results and enjoy making artistic looking images our of ordinary items.

Making Art With Anything
Another panoramic, this time it was a series of images stitched together which were taken as we drove out of the BWCA. The valley looked so inviting, I am not sure why, hehe, can you see it?

Leaving the BWCA
Flying confession, this was taken after the flight attendant told us to turn off all electronic devices for our landing. I couldn’t help but ignore her for a few minutes anyway an capture a few images coming into Seattle.

Landing in Seattle
On our way home from the BWCA in northern Minnesota we stopped at a scenic overlook in Duluth. I took a series of images and stitched them together once we got home to create this image. This thumbnail is really small and unfortunately a bit tough to make out the curvy road running across the bottom.

I could have straightened it in GIMP...
I tired for this photo two nights previous to this and was schooled at just how fast the sun sets. By the time I got to the lake, got my camera set up the sun would already be behind the treeline. This night I finally got the shot I wanted.

Tangerine Sunset
This panoramic image of a nearby lake, the image displayed here is very small, but full size we could make a huge poster out of this bad boy!
