We met Ally at a park in St. Cloud on one of the coldest days in October on record! Between the ripping wind and my shivering it is amazing we got any shots at all. We improvised and made the back seat of our truck into a studio and did what we could.

It was a cold day at Minnehaha Park as Amira, Ozy and I made our way around to several locations and had four outfit changes. There are some really cool locations for photography at the park, hopefully we will be able to head back there when the weather is warmer and take more!

Brady's shoot was a yearbook photo shoot on steroids. We started with just some basic head shots and then moved to a park, then to his band's practice location. We had a blast and I played with a couple of his images with some fun and funky editing.

Krystal is one of my favorite models, she is also a family friend. She is so patient and let's me pose her this way and that, never complaining. She has seen me struggle to try and figure out what is wrong and just keeps coming back for more. These shots were from our first attempt with some new gear I had just gotten. I was playing with the ISO, you can tell in some of these from the level of noise. Even so, we still got some fun shots.

This session with Krystal it was fun with hats, props, and make-up. We took so many images this session I was overwhelmed with what to do final editing on and ended up only doing a few out of the hundreds. That leaves me with a Krystal bank to be used at a later date!

This time around I put Krystal through the ringer. Several formal dress changes, different make-up, different locations, and then body paint. Out of all our sessions some of the images that came out of this one are my favorite to date. I love the body paint, it came out so vibrant along with her bright green eyes, simply stunning!

This was our first shoot with Tayler. We went for the graveyard theme and did a little blood for effect. It was a fun shoot, but cold as heck that day and poor Tayler had on a summer dress. We finished this one off by again using our truck as a make shift studio and cranking up the heat so we didn't freeze the model! There were two looks we were going for, in editing we found there was a third which came out when we desaturated the images and upped the settings for shadows and contrast. Virgil is 93 years old. She still lives by herself, although does have family nearby. She can tell stories for hours. One of her favorites is about her stint as a Minneapolis bus driver and how she was the first female bus driver for the city of Minneapolis.
